Vinha Negrosa is a blend of Jaen (50%) and Alfrocheiro (50%), the grape varieties that we consider best demonstrate the terroir where the vineyards are located. This vineyard, called Negrosa, is located in Vila Nova de Tazem, sub-region of Serra da Estrela. The main characteristics are the altitude – 470 to 500 meters, the soil composition – granite and granite sand, and the age of the vines – around 30 years. Delicate aromas with a fruity character and some balsamic and spicy notes. Very elegant in the mouth with a high sensation of freshness and great complexity and concentration. It has enormous potential for aging in the bottle.
